Meet our faithful truck Athena!

It is now only 34 days to go until we head off from Cape Town to Cairo on our epic trans-Africa expedition which departs on the 3rd of November and finishes in Cairo on the 22nd of March next year after 15 countries, 20 weeks, 22,000km!

And here is our lovely truck Athena who will be transporting us!  She is fully kitted out with safari-style dome tents, gas cooker, a fridge to keep the food and drinks cold, comfortable camp chairs and plenty of storage, not to mention nice big windows and even a sun roof to get those awesome on-the-go photos.  So keep checking the blog for updates on the adventures of Athena and our expedition as we travel the length of this fascinating continent.
